Louvered Pergola with Motorized Screens for Outdoor Dining in Manasquan, NJ
A custom pergola that keeps the patio open for guests, rain or shine.
Project Overview: A Custom Restaurant Pergola with Motorized Screens
Leggetts Sand Bar is a Manasquan favorite with live music, an outdoor patio, a large menu, and a big selection of specialty cocktails and cold beers. With the custom pergola we installed, guests can now dine outdoors even when it rains or the wind picks up. The motorized screens roll up out of sight at any moment, and the louvers adjust for airflow and shade.

The Goal: An Outdoor Patio That Stays Open in Any Weather
The patio is a big part of the draw, but weather can empty it fast. The owners wanted guests to be able to stay and dine outdoors when it rains or the wind kicks up.

What We Built: A Custom StruXure Pergola for an Outdoor Dining Patio
A custom Pergola X with a white frame and black louvers now covers the patio, and the contrast gives it a bold, modern look. Motorized screens add wind protection, and the Pivot louvers adjust to control shade and airflow.

The Result: Outdoor Dining That Doesn’t Depend on the Weather
On a rainy or windy night, the patio stays comfortable and the party keeps going. When the weather clears, the screens roll up and the louvers open, and the space goes back to open-air dining.
