Fabric Replacement for Retractable Awnings
Give your existing awning a fresh look with new fabric, whether it’s a Majestic Awning installed by us or by another brand.
Replace the Fabric on Your Existing Awning
If your retractable awning still works but the fabric is faded, stained, or worn out, we can replace the fabric and give it a fresh start. We offer this service for existing Majestic awnings and for awnings made by other companies, as long as the awning is in working condition.

Awning Fabric Replacement FAQs
Wondering what’s covered, how to care for your new fabric, or what happens if something goes wrong? Here are the questions we hear most about our fabric recover service.
-
Yes, we replace fabric on retractable awnings whether or not they’re Majestic awnings, as long as the awning is in working condition. We will assess the awning during the design consultation.
-
Our awning recover service covers the fabric only. Frame, mechanical, motor, and electrical work are quoted separately. If we are unable to repair your existing awning, we may recommend that you purchase a new awning instead.
-
We’re responsible for the fabric recover only, not for framing, mechanical, or motor problems that come up during installation or afterward. Any electrical work is handled by you and your own electrician.
-
Fully extend the awning and rinse the top with a garden hose. If needed, use a light hand soap. Our fabrics have a mildew-resistant coating, so don’t scrub, which could damage it. You don’t need to wait for the fabric to dry before retracting. It will dry on the roll, or you can extend it to dry when the weather is nice. Download our full care guide here.
