Landscape Project Manager (Hands-On)

About the Position:

The Landscape Project Manager is a hands-on leadership roleresponsible for managing and actively participating in the execution oflandscape and outdoor living projects. This position oversees projects fromplanning through completion, with a strong focus on the installation of motorizedpergolas, retractable screens, and related outdoor systems. The idealcandidate is field-oriented, detail-driven, and capable of leading crews whilemaintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage landscape and outdoor living projects from start to finish
  • Work hands-on in the field alongside crews during installations
  • Oversee installation of motorized pergolas, retractable screens, and outdoor structures
  • Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries
  • Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review project plans, specifications, and change orders
  • Conduct site visits, quality control inspections, and final walk-throughs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Document project progress and report status to management

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in landscape construction or project management
  • Proven experience managing crews and working in a hands-on field role
  • Familiarity with outdoor structures, pergolas, screens, or motorized systems preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape and construction plans
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-end residential or commercial outdoor projects
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual compensation range: $80,000 – $100,000, based on experience
  • Supportive team-oriented work environment

Work Environment

  • Primarily field-based with some office and administrative responsibilities
  • Requires physical activity including lifting, standing, and working on active job site

Bookkeeper/ Office Manager Construction(On-Site)

About the Position:

We are a growing outdoor constructioncompany seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Manager tohandle daily bookkeeping and office operations. This is a hands-on, on-siterole working closely with ownership, project managers, and operations.

The ideal candidate must have strongQuickBooks experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to learn andmaster CRM software used to manage customers, projects, and workflow.

This is NOT a remote position

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Invoicing, payments, and expense tracking
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll and job costing
  • Maintain accurate financial and office records
  • Work with Project Managers and Operations on job billing and costs
  • Enter and manage customer and job data in CRM software
  • Learn, use, and maintain CRM workflows and reports
  • Answer phones, manage emails, and support general office needs

Requirements

  • Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
  • Strong computer skills (required)
  • Ability and willingness to learn and master CRM software
  • Bookkeeping or office management experience
  • Construction or trades experience preferred
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

Must work on-site in New Jersey

Compensation

  • Hourly pay – commensurate with experience
