The Goal: A Functional Outdoor Room
This homeowner wanted the backyard to work like another room of the house, with the kitchen, the fireplace, and the seating all in one covered space they could count on.

What We Built: A Black StruXure Pergola with Pivot Louvers
A black Pergola X with Pivot louvers covers the outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and seating areas. The dark frame and louvers pick up the colors of the house, so the pergola looks like it belongs to the architecture. The louvers adjust for sun, shade, and shelter, so each part of the space stays comfortable.

The Result: Outdoor Living in More Seasons
Pairing the louvered roof with lighting and fans gives the family a setup they can enjoy for years, and they use the outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and seating areas.
